Desmond O’Hagan is listed in Who’s Who in American Art, and is a Master Pastelist with the Pastel Society of America. In 2005, he was inducted into the International Association of Pastel Societies’ Masters Circle.

Primarily working in pastels and oils, O’Hagan has won several awards in national exhibits and has been the subject of feature articles in numerous national and international magazines including American Art Collector, Southwest Art, The Artist Magazine, International Artist, United Airlines’ Hemispheres magazine, Gekkan Bijyutsu (Japan), and Artists and Illustrators (United Kingdom). He is also represented in four books, and has exhibited his art in numerous one-man shows across the United States and group shows in Japan, China, and France.

O’Hagan’s art is in public and private collections in the United States, Japan, Canada, and Europe. His art is represented by galleries in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Denver, Colorado, and Ogden, Utah. O’Hagan also represents his art through his website and studio in Denver. He teaches workshops through a variety of organizations and also in his studio yearly.
